
2008 Student Biennial Exhibition November 23 - January 4
The exhibition presents a diversified look at recent student endeavors. This show will provide a fresh insight into the visual
and conceptual concerns of emerging student artists.
This year’s show will pull together a wide collection of styles and influences evident in the many drawings, painting, digital
works, sculpture, ceramics and photography. The distinguished jurors are Marc Folk, Executive Director of the Arts Commission
of Greater Toledo and Shaurya Kumar, Associate Professor of 2D – Digital Hybrids at Bowling Green State University.

Lecturer, Dustyn Bork was selected for competitive printmaking residency at the
Frans Masereel Centrum, Kasterlee Belgium. During his residency, Dustyn pursued his creative artwork and research for three weeks in a professional printmaking studio.
While there, he also participated in a portfolio project titled,
"Love/ Death/ Life/ Soul" with six international artists. Ten folios were produced during the artists' residencies. One folio became part of the permanent collection of the Royal Museum in Belgium and the Frans Masereel Centrum archive. Another is currently on loan and has been exhibited at the
Galerie Invorm in Brussels, Belgium.Participating artists for this portfolio are Tania Bedriñana, Dustyn Bork, Lou Joseph, Michael Markwick, Mary Robinson and Misha (Michael) Shenbrot.
